Dame Jennifer Smith
I always used to see Former Premier of Bermuda Dame Jennifer Smith, DBE, JP. At art shows. She knows how to glam up a room with her perfect hair lipstick and stilettos. She is a great supporter of the arts with her presence and her pocket. When she was the premier of Bermuda, I felt as an artist that I had social value. She made herself available and would entertain a request from artists with her support whenever she could. She always had kind words to say about my art and me. It’s obvious that her memories and struggles as an artist are constantly by her side.
